​​​​​MissionInsite Church Demographics

In response to our Mission to connect the District and its people, Church Extension Fund has contracted with MissionInsite to provide a comprehensive and targeted demographic tool to all CNH District churches and ministries. This service is provided at NO COST to your congregation.

Through your desktop, web-based program, MissionInsite provides instant access to a wide suite of community information, easily tailored and filtered to research questions about the makeup, history and trends for your congregation's existing or potential ministry areas.

The MissionInsite program is accessed through the Internet using a common desktop browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Users must first register with MissionInsite to set up a user profile and identify their "home" congregation or ministry, and it is common for several people in a church to register with the service. Registration is free, and uses a common account set up by CEF.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Through CEF, as a CNH District congregation or ministry you have free, unlimited access to MissionInsite.

  • To register as a first time user of MissionInsite, go to http://www.missioninsite.com

  • Click on the “CLIENT CENTER" button near the top right corner of the screen, then select "Register" from the pull-down menu that appears.

  • A new page is displayed outlining the registration process.  Read for your information, and then click on the word "Register" at the end of the first line of text ("click here: REGISTER.").​​

  • Key CEF's Agency Account Number, 99BHN, where indicated, and click SUBMIT.

  • Select your city and then select your church from the drop-down menus.

  • Finally, follow the directions to register and create your own username and password.

It is recommended that you DO NOT check the box stating that you do not want to receive email correspondence from MissionInsite. The activation email that you need to complete your registration will not come to you if you do!

After you register you will receive an email to activate your user account. Make sure you check in your spam or junk mail folders and authorize MissionInsite as a trusted source. Follow the steps outlined in the activation email. You will be prompted to click on a link, enter the activation code in the email that you received and enter your password. Upon authorization you will be ready to log in and begin using the MI System!

LOGGING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME

Before logging in the first time, please take a moment to review the StartingPoint .pdf document, then:

  • Browse to the MissionInsite Home Page at http://www.missioninsite.com.​​

  • Click on the “CLIENT CENTER" button near the top right corner of the screen, then select "Login" from the pull-down menu that appears.

  • Enter your newly created Username and Password and then click the “login” button.

  • That’s all there is to it!

While there are a few things you need to learn, the system is designed to be user friendly and provides you with additional services not available from other systems. Have fun exploring your mission context and remember there is no possibility of accidentally harming the system or data.
